It might be worth it to just pull the heads, do new head gaskets. Its easier to do the valve springs with the heads off. Also, if your valve guides can accept it, put the positive type seals on both valves. The kits will usually come with enough to only put the positive seals on the intake, and o-rings on the exhaust.

Know of a decent pair of heads for a decent price that would go on "hassle-free" haha. by hassle free i mean not having to change anything else but something more breathable than stock.
