I think the problem is the SOM is blending too much with the brick... too much red going on. The photos of the SOM without the brick BKG looks really good, because it brings out its color. Its like putting a hunter green-colored car in a woods full of pine trees, you dont get that *BLAOW* effect. Just giving you a tip... also, try to always keep the front rim facing the camera, nobody wants to see tire tread unless its a full frontal picture.
