My stupid little POS Acer apparently came with a trial version of McAfee on it. I hate McAfee, so I went to the store and bought Kasperksy. I get home, uninstall McAfee and all it's components, and start to install my new program. He tells me to go home and install the McAfee Uninstaller.. which I did, only to find out that damn program is another one altogether and has nothing to do with actually uninstalling McAfee. It's of absolutely no use to me! Question is, now what do I do to try and get Kaspersky to install?

Question...did you restart the computer after you uninstalled McAfee, before you tried installing Kaspersky?
