torsen unit is supposed to be one of the strongest for the 10 bolt. I broke it on my 4th pass with 4.10s...had about 60 passes on it with 3.42s. It was also strong enough to snap an axle on me 2 days before it blew itself up. Just about every pass I had on the car was launched at 5500+rpm and almost a straight clutch dump. What clutch are you running? If it's stock...you'll be fine for a while, if it's an aftermarket that grabs, well your **** outta luck because the 10 bolt will break very easily. Btw, the launch isn't what did my 10 bolt in, the 1-2 shift killed it. I ended up picking up a fully optioned 9in(4.11s, tru trac, aluminum case, powder coated, etc.) for $1800. A buddy of mine had an Eaton and killed it on his 2nd pass down the track. So torsen>eaton.
