I know you have to put things into perspective, but I love how one article on Yahoo said that he signed a 1 year contract for ONLY 1.6 million. Granted this is not even close to what he was making, but I blame the owners for giving in to these ULTRA high demands (such as a 97 million contract) for example, Eli Manning. HOW MUCH IS TOOOOOO MUCH! Can someone spend that much or do you run out of things to buy. I would love to not have to buy Shop-Rite brand items or day old bread, but in these tough economic times we all have to pull in our belts, BUT NOT THE PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS
