ive heard of it, i have a chevy sbc book by david vizard that mentions this with some pics, but it doesnt really do that much into detail. Pretty much you drill the hole through the main, pointing towards the centerline of the piston, just in front of the connecting rod small end when the piston is halfway down its stroke. A metering jet of some kind is pressed into the hole, and a small connecting slot is machined into the main saddle to connect the new hole to the mains oil feed hole.
As far as procedures, angles, metering jets, machining afterwords ect. I have no idea,
