TCI converter??
yup, tci converter. never ever had problems with tci stuff. and there is no shimming of converter.
with converter all the way into pump there is a 1/8" to flex. allowable tolerances even from g.m. is 1/8"-3/16" you can even go 1/4".

I usually like to see closer to 3/16". called tci and they said that 1/8" is exactly what they want to see, but that doesn't give you any room for minimal crank end play or flex plate movement @ high rpm.

if the tci converter didn't have the anti ballon plate welded on to pump shaft it would go farther into trans.
