whenever you pay your fines or restoration fees they usually give you a piece of paper with a yellow receipt stapled to it. normally you wanna keep any and all documentation they give you INSIDE your car. that way if you get pulled over by a police officer and the computer still shows it, you can show the officer you took care of it.
thats happened to me once before
it was the only time i ever was pulled over by a hamilton cop and also wasnt searched at the same time.
