I'd be careful with that. A cable that is 1/8th thick? Not the jacket/housing, but the cable itself is 1/8th thick, that's a pretty serious cable. I know the fuel cut off your talking about on the old diesels. Just make double sure before you go through all kinds of effort and then get shot down at tech. That would suck.

How thick are the cables they use for the chutes on the cars that require them?
