Not sure i understand your second point. Are you saying the 1LE's have a hub like a normal thirdgen rotor and the Vette rotor just slips over a fixed hub? If so can you just machine your stock rotor down to allowe the Vette rotor to fit over it? That's how the C5 conversion is accomplished.

Also you may need to cut the original mounting tabs off of your spindle for the caliper.
