All they did was find cars marked up a couple grand more than a realistic number. When the dealer lets you get up and walk out and never contacts you again and they know you were looking to put $10K down on the new car, that tells me they are not really trying to sell cars right now. I think they are trying to mess up the numbers for some reason. I didn't think there was any way he was stepping down. What a freakin mess!

Realize that GM has no relation to your dealer outside that the dealer sells GM cars. Its a shame that GM cannot have more control of it.
I had a quazi ****** experiance at my dealer, and I still walked away uneasy after fighting for 3 days.
I really really really wish I worked at a dealer part time so that I could try and help good, honest, hard working people. But I probably wouldnt last long.
Big Ed is from AT&T, and did help break up a lot of the union's in AT&T. He was piced by the ATF, not Obama...jesus you guys cant give this dude a ****in break, can you?
They wanted him for his outside opinion, and for his work in the past.
As for a new CEO, I dont know if they are gunna get anyone worth much. Mullaly came out from Boeing for a LOT more money then GM can spend.
And whats his face...Mr.Home Depot, ran HD and then Chrylser into a wall with poor product. Even the mighty Jim Press-son, the highest ranking American in Toyota could do nothing for them.
Ed will move foward with a lot of back-burner programs, and I think he really likes Lutz and he will have free reign over the land of GM. This could be very good.
