It does more sound like ignition but it could be starving for fuel at high RPM. When was the last service done to it? Try just changing the fuel filter? How many miles are on the plugs?
Put a meter on the battery and see what voltage your charging at at idle. Nothing was changed since your tune correct? And it is a recent thing?
