You guys are pretty smart, figure this out...

I have a 2005 Z71 Tahoe which I purchased last year. It has fornt heated seats. The controls are mounted in each door. Each switch has two buttons, each button will isolate heat to either the seat cusion or the seat back or both. There is only one setting for the seat back but there are 3 settings for the seat cusion. Low, medium & high.

Both the seat back and seat cusion have always worked. Yesterday my passenger noted that only the back portion of the passenger side was working despite the indicator lights illuminated for both the seat back and seat cushion.

I turned mine on and the same thing. All of the lights illuminate on the switch for both the seat back and the seat cushion but only the back gets heat.

How could two seats that were fully functioning last week seats only 1/2 function now? Switches stay illuminated. I would suspect a burnt out cushion heater element if it was just one seat but both? I pulled the fuse to the heater module to try and reset it and that didnt work...

Anybody have a clue?

This is what the switch looks like.
