The size of the line refers to the Inside diameter (ID). Example -8 line = 8/16ths or 1/2 line.

What size line are you working with? What are you plumbing a fuel supply line? a dry sump tank? Vacuum pump?

If you were closer to Trenton I'd suggest going to Lawrence Engineering, they have a huge selection of fittings in stock. A bit on the expensive side, but you can see it, touch it, build it before buying it. Very convenient.
