Either way, it sounds like you need to be working with -8 stuff for a 1/2 blowdown tube.

i believe thats correct, im just saying that from my experience, the an sizes reefer to the OD of hardlines. -6 is the same as 3/8 od tubing, -8 is 1/2 od tubing, 10 is5/8 od tubing ect.
