I think it really depends on how badly you will want something to drive this year. I sold my 70 SS396 last year and got lucky with it being a lousy summer so it wasn't too big of a deal. I also have the 2000 SS as my daily driver so I still have something to enjoy. But I already have the itch to get another 1st or 2nd gen to drive so I'm looking for something that will be driveable for the summer. I imagine you will be pretty busy this year with buying the house and getting married so a project may end up sitting longer than you think it will. And then out of nowhere you suddenly have kids!
