I've owned/worked on lt1's too.

ls1-equal length wires (lt1's need to select proper length)
ls1-coil-per-plug on top of valve covers(lt1 have to route wires along block and into opti)
ls1-plugs,little more access to remove than lt1

all these things allow the plugs and wires to be change alot faster than an LT1.
But it's not really because of the LT1, it's because of the 4th gen body. Changing plugs is one thing, changing wires is not done as often as plugs though. The LT1 is definitely more difficult with some of the maintenance but in the end they are both a pita compared to a 1st or 2nd gen.

And everyone is just busting each others balls in here so nobody should be taking it too seriously.
