i had a metro back when i lived in the bay area california. back then it was a start up company without much coverage. they have a decent nationwide coverage now, but only in large cities. if you go outside of the city limits you wont get reception. if you stay in largely populated areas and need a flat rate phone (land line) with the flexibility to leave your house then its an AWESOME service. i enjoyed mine and the price was good.
