Did you ever work at any of those places? My top tech easily cleared over 90k every year. Can you explain how technicians are paid at all those places you mentioned? Enlighten me.

at least a good auto mechanic cannot be outsourced to china or India. I know a lot of programmers that want nothing to do with computers when they leave. I think any job is like that.
