and also, you're saying it's ok for someone to make over a quarter million per year to have a job that he doesn't do just because he has been there for 20 years? If he actually did his job and didn't have his secretary do it for him I would agree with you, but that's not the case.


i wasnt speaking of you in particular, but from the memo it seems someone has been abusing the policy. they are going to protect their long term employees over a 944 employee (which i assume you are). i also speak from experience on this one, knowing many people that work for the state and knowing exactly what your speaking of. it might not seem fair that he's making 250k for what you see as a minimally invasive job but he's also put in his time and worked his way up from the same position you are...no reason that cant be you in 20 years then right?


as for high school kids giving away free fast food (which will only get thrown out anyway) to their friends out the drive thru window...well thats just something i havent thought about in a loooooooooooooong time
