haha. I was told the car saw 8s once. My stop pops ran the car high nines with never braking parts. He said 9.90s all day no problems and saw 8.90s once. Here is the list I got from what he remembers...
Car:1949 Anglia (English Ford)
Engine: 350 4 Bolt main/525 HP
Twin 660 Holleys, 12" Edelbrock Tunnel ram, corrvette angle plug heads, 12.5:1 TRW pistons, Cam Dynamics Roller High lift cam
Trans: Select Performance Turbo 400 w/ High stall 8" Converter and brake, winter shifter
Rear: Olds Locked rear end (Strange Engineering 5.86:1)
Brakes: Hurst airheart Disc brack system
Suspension: Koni Coilovers, Front Axle P-S Specialty
Then I found 9.5 at 140
