Rochester 1 and 2bbl carbs have screws that hold the top on, it's not like a Holley. I've rebuilt a few of them over the years, you just have to be careful and use the correct gaskets. Usually the rebuild kits have gaskets for multiple years so you need to look at your old one carefully. I've also flipped a gasket around by mistake and it won't run too well when that happens.
