Yeah they do react to each other.. I think it is called either electrolysis or galvanization. Bascially it is the exchange of atoms between the two materials. The steel acts as the sacrifical material..

Thanks BO96.. Im actually going to use the cf to make the hertiage stripes on the vert. Should be intresting to pull it off.
