he's using the 3rd gen tank and sender with an aftermarket gauge i believe.
i am saying wire the resistor on the pcm input for fuel level to trick it into thinking there is nearly a full tank of gas which will disable the evap diagnostic test but still allow for misfire detection which is pretty smart in my mind.
