Well I own a mustang and a firebird. I have not taken the mustang on the streets yet cause it's not yet finished but i've never had a problem with my firebird. I've had a few camaros and corvettes trying to race me (also the damn ricers) but never a mustang. In my camaro, the mustangs try.. my boyfriend has a few mustangs and any time we're out there's always a 3rd or 4th gen that wants to race.. never any earlier generations. I think it has more to do with the age of the owner and not the choice of car.
