Breaking in a new LT1?

Ok, So I never had to brake in a fresh engine befor so... I want to know whats the proper way to do this since I hear soooo many different myths and stories... It's got me threw a loop. I just want to make sure my LT1 is getting the proper brake in to avoid any damage!

Here's one article I found http://www.howtodothings.com/automot...n-a-new-engine

I also found this in another article

"High performance engines differ slightly from traditional engines and a wider range of speeds should be employed during the early stages of engine use. Consult the motorist handbook supplied with your vehicle for full information of speed recommendations.

It is also suggested that performance engines are never left to idle for any longer than a couple of minutes."

Suggestions ??? Kinda lost... Someone told me not to go over 45mph and someone else told me to go on the highway and cruise at different rpms/speeds....
