The Air intake goes to the drivers side with the s.c. ecotec's..
On newer N.A. ecotecs it goes to the passenger side on newer models..
But if you look at older sunbirds and cav's they are on the drivers side for certain years..
Like I said previously the intake still face forward but the intake plumbing on certain years just routes to different sides..
The super charger intake goes to the drives side because the engine faces the passenger side so the belts are on the passenger side to turn the super charger..
The turbo intake manifolds are the same position as the N.A. 2.0,2.2, 2.4 Intakes
Only difference is some are nylon like the LS engines and the turbo intake manifolds like in the Saab's are aluminum..
Dunno if the new Cobalt SS turbo intakes are aluminum..
But I know all of the intakes are interchangeable between 2.0,2.2 & 2.4
The Super Charger on ecotec's is an Eaton M62 Super charger..
