Thanks for the info thus far. especially for that list Bill. I tried to hint at her that she is in way over her head but she wasn't having it.
By the way, this car is supposed to be a surprise, so I can't even ask him what it is he wants. Not my idea, I was just a resource tapped because I know enough about cars to do more than change my own oil.

The surprise should be a picture of a '69 and a card that says it's OK to buy one. Too many variables and specifics in a toy car to just spring it on a budget. JMHO.
