not all, no. but many aftermarket systems have it and its sometimes refereed to as a valet switch. A few cars that I've stripped have had it.

If you take you're time you should be able to remove the alarm yourself.

anywhere they used a "t-crimp" connector will need to be inspected to make sure the wire is not damaged and then would need to be taped over to prevent future issues. Also, any wires that were cut and lead into the alarm box, would need to be reconnected properly.

The stock security system should be fine and would not need to be reset.
