i actually already downloaded teh forms to join sema. as soon as we get teh incorporation approval back from the state it is the first thing i was planning to do.

Good to hear about S.E.MA., but at the risk of coming across as a bit of a heavy here, let me just say that joining the 'S.A.N.' network, is only a small part of the battle, the major part is up to you, or the group that joins, or the joining part is useless. I think I know what I'm talking about here, I've been active as a volunteer 'Legislative Liaison' now for over 13 years.
About that 'Incorporating' thing, does this mean you're forming an actual Club? If so, maybe you might want to hook up with the 'Pontiac-Oakland Club International' (http://www.poci.org). As of now the 'Garden State' chapter is prety much a dead issue, and it'd be nice if someone who can devote the time to it, picked up the ball and ran with it again. Of course if you don't want to do that, I'll still support your efforts.
