I've actually never heard Tupac or Big
sing - I've heard them rap before. While those guys are great lyricists, I would not put them in the same category as Paul and John.
Sorry for the OT rant, but it needed to be said.
And really, he should have said Ratt, or Winger, or some other '80s hair metal band that would've been appropriate for the time period.
