The healing power of wrenches
To be brutally honest, I really have a hard time getting out of bed most days. When my wife passed away in October it really took a lot of life out of me. And now trying to deal with finances, medical bills, etc etc etc on top of feeling lower than whale chit doesn't make things any easier. Plus I quite drinking due to health and an addiction problem, so I can't numb anything there. But I will say that buying my CSRT4 probably saved my sanity, and maybe even my life. I can't wait to go out and turn a wrench on it, or just turn wrenches in general. Today I took a mental health day from work and am doing the brakes on my Cavalier, so I'll have a good winter beater and can give the SRT4 a break. Many of the best times in my life involved hot rods and friends met through the hobby. So, I'm back in where I know I'll get some happiness. On Sunday I'm heading to Pa to meet up with a guy who has a SRT4 that is putting down over 500 hp to the wheels. And I'm hoping to take a road trip this winter out to Indy, to go to the Speedway museum. So, I don't care what it takes, I'm staying in this hobby as an active participant. Cause it is one of the few things that gives me satisfaction and happiness anymore
