That's the way the market is going. And in the case of lesser brands than BMW, Audi, and Benz, the best way to get somebody to buy your car is to make it look like a better car than it is.

No Mercedes owner will ever be jealous of your Hyundai. But damned if they don't share some of the same styling.


yeah i know what youre saying but damn, its like they have no identity to themselves at all anymore. i kinda liked how in the 90s you could look at a z24, z26 and a z28 and all see the lineage of where they come from within the gm stable. now it just seems like another me too car lost in the crowd of boring cookie cutter designs. looking at the new SS-V i can see bits of all different manufacturer design cues...kinda sucks.
