jeez, it sounds like it would almost be easier to take a few more bolts out and pull the engine from the bottom - if you have a lift, that is. then you could not only change the plugs but any other thing that needed attention. yes, there was a guy who did it this way. he said it saved a bunch of time and aggravation.
