And to the OP, this is the type of thing that is best answered with some pictures of the car in question. The true value can vary greatly based on how good the body and interior look, etc. If it looks like a pack of wild badgers ripped apart the interior and then drove it through a barbed wire factory, you'd be lucky to get $2k. But if the interior is clean and the seats are tear-free, and the paint shines up nice with no dents, cracks, or spiderwebbing I would say you might be able to get twice that.
