But what if you have a classic car that you bring to shows that is flawless and it gets scratched. I used to know a guy in North NJ that was very trustworthy, he retired. There has to be some good places in the NJ/NY area that still perform top notch paint repairs right?
Does anyone have a reccomendation. Say the car is a 67 chevelle thats a true 138 vin 396 with 17,000 documented miles and origional and rather pristine may I say paint. Suppose it got a scratch in the hood of all places. Where does one go to have it repainted and blended so it is undetectable?

I doubt even the best will be able to make a perfect match to 46 year old paint in a blend job.
