My AWD G35 gets around 17mpg, and my commute is basically 10 miles of local roads with traffic lights and morning commuter traffic getting around the George Washington Bridge. Lots of stop and go, with plenty of abuse from my right foot when there's room.
It gets over 20mpg on highway voyages. My wife's '03 Liberty is driven all local as well, and the trip computer says its gets 14.5mpg.
