It doesn't sound loud to me but that's tough to tell in a video and I know people say its loud. Nonetheless, vettes have a race mode aka open exhaust. Will a vette take a turn quicker than a hellcat? Obviously. For the price and what you get, there is something to say about dollar per smile.

As far as the toy car point, a sedan has much more day to day function over a 2 seater or a coupe. It also has plenty of trunk space which is useful in day to day. Then look at the ride height. Pot holes, puddles, snow, and a tree branch will make a vette driver panic while its a little more tolerable in the charger. They are both amazing cars but to say a vette is a better car to live with and a hell cat is a toy, well that just isn't true.
