I never saw this day coming...

That i would own a honda powered car.... But... Ive been itching for a non boring DD (was driving an auto 09 Pontiac g5) and came across this. My buddy was selling it. So I flew out to Indianapolis and drove it 11hrs back home to NJ...

Its a 97 honduh civic ex with a b18c black top motor (painted red). 5 speed LS trans. Thing is fun as hell to drive. Grocery list of suspension and stuff.

Suspension:
Koni Yellow shocks w/ ground control coilovers (400F / 450R Spring rates)
Whiteline 22mm Rear sway bar kit
Energy Suspension Torque mount inserts
JDM ITR 16”x7”Replica wheels in gunmetal with 205/45/16 Bridgestone RE-11's

Engine:
JDM ITR B18C
Compression test 210 across the board but it does burn oil under high load.
PLM Toda Replica header
Yonaka 2.5” exhaust with Vibrant resonator. Nice and quiet cruising around town, good tone under load. No rapsy-ness whatsover.

LS 5speed Transmission.
Civic SI gauge cluster and spoiler
Del sol front seats.
Aftermarket sound deadening added to doors and front floor panels. Helps a lot with road noise and speaker performance.
Retrofit source FXR projectors retrofitted into stock headlights and DDM tuning HID kit. Miles better then the stock headlights
98'+ Tail lights
20% tints

My plans for the civic:
Install all new splash shields
Rear disc brake conversion
Velocity stack filter
New front bumper (current one has speed holes)
Fix the rusty ugly header bolts
Engine rebuild (smokes bad during vtak yo)
B16 LSD or itr trans

I'm enjoying it so far. LS trans is such a **** block though. Gears are too long. VTEC hits hard though the car moves. should be around 190hp to the wheels....
