Cat inspection is easy - a given.

They need to open the hood to get a visual tamper and I have never been subject to that ever - not even for older cars that would not pull codes if emissions parts are removed (like my 84). Never seen any cars at the inspection station with their hoods open.

Maybe I'm special?
