I work for AAA North Jersey, and spend most of my days behind the wheel. To put this bluntly, I am sick and tired of the terrible roadways in NJ. I'm tired of the "Patch and Pray" method, I'm tired of feeling like I'm offroading when I drive through town, and I'm tired of improper signage and worn off roadway lines. The interchanges in our state are dangerous and costly to all motorists. Our infrastructure is crumbling, and big businesses that bring in money are leaving our state, for a plethora of reasons, one of which is that our roadways cannot handle their moving parts. So instead of complaining about it, I am taking action. I propose that the state needs to step in, and evaluate all of the roadways from small municipalities, all the way to our major thoroughfares.
