Like Adam said, get one for a 1996 Corvette Grand Sport, it's a bit more compact and puts out more torque. Fbody is larger, heavier and last time I looked cost more.

They have acdelco also for like 15-25$ more. I've had no issues with my autozone vette Starter though.
It will take you longer to jack the car up than to change the starter. A shop will charge $250-350 easily.
