Just went to Mufflex this morning to diagnose an exhaust buzzing noise, it turned out to be a loose weld on the steel "Mufflex" plate they welded to the back of the muffler. I got the muffler hot enough to burn off the black high-temp Rustoleum, so I guess there was enough thermal expansion to punish the welds.
Darn thing was vibrating and creating a surprisingly-loud hissing/buzzing noise...which is now gone. Denny stitched it back on, no more noise, I'm a happy camper.
