need paint help...anyone?

ok back in september I painted the engine compartment in my SS and I am very happy with how it came out. Luckily it was about 65 degrees out back then.

Now, i still have to paint the lower airbox for my car, but im thinking its way too cold to do it in my garage now. Back in sep, i prepped and primed it so now it just needs to be scuffed and re-primed and then painted/cleared. I still have enough of the supplies/paint to do it but the cold worries me. All the reducers/hardeners I currently have are for 55-75 degrees mainly.

My options are...
1) use my propane heater to warn the garage as much as possible, spray it, then bring it inside to dry(65degrees in basement)
2) construct some type of spray booth thing in my basement and paint it inside(fumes/overspary are the concern here)
3) find someone with a shop or better setup and give them the primer/paint/clear and a few bucks to have them paint it...

right now im leaning towards option #3, just gotta find someone willing...

well, i decided to paint it myself. Im gonna set up a small type spray booth thing/area in my basement tomorrow. i turned up the heat down there to 65 and brought all the supplies, part, and spray gun inside there to warm up from being in the cold garage.

hopefully itll be sprayed and drying by the time i head down to NB. and this time after i prime it, i wont stick both my hands into the wet paint. haha.

Here is sorta how it looks now just primed and smoothed out for the most part....

I strongly encourage you to not paint in the house! Just wait a few weeks or take it somewhere. Painting in the house especially if you have gas heat is very dangerous! Friend was painting an RC plane in his basement, we've been doing it for years and one day when the heater came on the fumes ignited almost killed him! The fumes had been drawn into the heater so flames shot out every vent in the house catching carpet and drapes on fire instantly!

yea, i was thinking how to keep fumes out and theres no way, so im still thinking what to do. I dont mind paying a place to do it but i dont have the spare cash right now and i want to get it done soon. At least all the paint and stuff is back at room temp.

edit: lemme just also add that the "basement" i was considering, isnt what most people think. its more or a rec/family room right off my garage, to get to the celler part, you need to go down a few stairs and through two doors, then you finally get into the room where the hot water heaters are. we dont have forced air here so vents didnt even come into my mind. No matter, im not gonna paint it inside anyway. Right now im seeing what the temp inside the garage is currently.

Bonzo, yes it is only a top piece and could be done at a later time, but the problem is, i'm a perfectionist and i just refuse to run the car with a primered air box. i agree its stupid but in my head i'll just keep procrastinating. lol. the car has seriously a weekend left fo work to be done and thats it, but its taken 2 months already. If anything, ill try to find and buy a stock black(cant find one so far) and use that.

its done, poor pic though, the inside area is all taped off and will be plain black. now sunday i can finally move on to doing the steering setup in the car, then exhaust...
