Who wants to help me kill some one?
Well friday I went to american auto on RT50 to get heads for my car. I asked for 00+ GM V6 3400 heads, and they gave me a blank look....oook  so i asked for an 02 Monte Carlo with a 3.4 and they under stood that. Then they tell me "O yea we got them right in stock, come back monday we'll have em off".
Ok, I'm not gonna push it I want my parts. So when I go get them i'm looking at the bolt pattern and coolant passages in much confusion. I kindly asked "what were these off of" they told me it was a 00 Olds alero. Which did have a 3.4 BUT my heads were tagged 99. After asking lots of questions and still not feeling right about it it took the heads to blacdout96's house to clean them up and he go's "hey they look just like mine", but there were a few differences. so after a CASE of gum cuter he goes and gets his head for his S/C 3800. THEY GAVE ME A F'N 3800 HEAD!!!!!!!!!! after asking over and over those bastards gave me the wrong ****...Now I'm out $25 in parts cleaner AND i need heads.
Heres the real kicker though, I know at least ONE of you guys are going "aleros never hade 3800s in them" DING DING DING WE GOT A FREAKIN WINNER!!!!! WTF did they get the heads out of??????????

X2. They could be out of a bunch of stuff. If you have a casting number (or range of them) bring that with you next time and verify.

they were giving me a bunch of crap cause when i cleaned em up the junkyard numbers came off...but affter about 30min of raising hell i have to go back at 4o'clock for the right ones

good, raising hell is a good thing. its sad that this is the only way you get something done, whatever happened to being nice and just fixing the mistake without resorting to violence?
