eventful day yesterday..

So me and my moms boyfriends drove up to penn state college to help my brother move back, which is 171 miles one way. my truck made it there, no problems except 100 to fill it. now we have to go to lock haven university to his gfs house to get more of his stuff...this is when we started having problems.

i noticed i had no powersteering (uh oh) turns suck. so then i hear a ding and it said sheck guages, so i looked figuring oil but it was tempature guage and its at 260! ...WTF! so her house was another mile so i finished the ride to her house, pulled right up front and threw it in park and turned it off..opened the hood and the water pump went.

6:30 pm.

we unhooked the trailor and left it on the side of the road in a parking spot as we worked on the truck in the garage.
at about 9-9:30 we hear a cr5unch and a bang...go ouyt and someone said that someone tagged out trailor and drove off..no damage to the trailor but they had 3 hubcaps left. at this point we had the alternator and the bracket halfway off, all our parts that we need and wendys and beer. but i didnmt drink cuz i had to drive home.

now we continue to works and we finally got the waterpump in and everything put back together and it was 12. so we decided to frive home. we left with about half a tank of gas and 160 miles to go. we mad about 185 miles on half a tank but without and enclose trailor behind us. so we get to exit 273 which is 35 mmiles from the house and the gas guiage is on the red line....gas stations are slosed. ****! so we hop back on 80 and hope for the best...exit 274 had gas stations open..its about 2:15 at6 this point and we got gas and made it home at like 2:30-2:45 and it sucked my a$$!

just thought id share.

You'll laugh about this next year over some beers with friends.

Sounds like a fun trip....college, working on the truck, Wendy's, and beer!
