My front plate panel project with light
Got a friend who voluntered to paint my clear front plate filler panel. Its been painted pewter, going to put a black bird decal that was printed an 1/8" smaller than the normal print size. Reason why? Its to allow light to shine behind the bird so that i cant turn a light on and i will have an eluminated bird at night. The extra 1/8" will allow the light to shine past.
See its a clear panel
Painted the color of my car
At night it will look like this
And this is it on his car

It is i never saw such a thing until i saw his and i said i gotta have that. My front end feels naked with out the plate on so theres a solution to the probelm. Its called a bird on a panel and it lights up at night.

I saw this on LS1.com years ago. I think it was SnakeEater that did it with LEDs and changing colors and such. It was pretty bad ass looking. I am pretty sure he did a right up on it on there somewhere.
Looks cool still.
