				4th gens where is your amp mounted
			 
 
			
			for everyone that has a system in their car...where is your amp mounted, pics are a plus, and any positives / negatives to having it mounted in that spot. im trying to get some ideas for my system. thanks in advance

			I had mine where the back of the back seat went, centered it and had a cap on the trans tunnel then the 2 boxes were on top of the rear deck area. I also used to have the amp inbetween the subs up there too.

			Mine is on the rear deck held down with velcro and the wires ... has yet to move though so its fine. below is pic of said amp

			My rear window is tinted... dark... the only thing you see is the blue LED when its lit at night other than that its hard to see.

			yea i had 5% on my hatch,  you could barely see the system even right up close. 
Plus i didn't leave the car unattended really in bad ares, much.

			i dont like the amp on the back deck, cause then the cover wont lay flat when you store your tops

			Oh no I was talking about the amp mounting on the bottom of the well. 
They don't make something like this for verts? I'm not familiar with the trunks.

			The t-tops fit like it was not even there. 
 But not sure what you mean by the cover wont close. Never was able to close the cover anyway with the ttops even before the amp rack.
