Scrap metal/Sheet metal?

Looking for places to buy scrap metal and/or new sheet metal. Square/round tubeing, flat peices, aluminum, steel, etc.

Anyone know of any places? Online resources would be more helpful right now.

Thank you.

Some of the smaller stuff can actually be found at Lowe's. The bigger stuff I buy from a local guy so no help there.

Online there's McMaster-Carr:

The stuff at lowes can get expensive. I go to metal supermarket in plainfield. way cheaper than lowes. They have any kind of metal you want in any size or shape. The are on 1280 North Ave in plainfield.

Yeah, I just figured that driving a ways or shipping may be more expensive in the long run for a few pieces of bar stock or w/e.

I'll have to look at the place you mentioned. Close to me.
