				do i need my tpi computer???
			 
 
			
			converted over to carburetor with an hei now im woundering do i need the old tpi computer(i wanna hide a amplifer where the computer is) does the computer run anything important other then the fuel injection system and the intank pump( no longer there machanical pump now). also have a machnical trans th350

			Putting info in the sig helps with what car is this for ...
 I think the T/A's have the VSS running through the computer

			i swapped a carb on my 88... i left the computer there to run the fuel pump and the fans, i think thats all... removed the check engine light bulb too

			does VSS even matter if he is running a mechanical TH350?  
 I'd be concerned an amp in that spot may overheat from lack of air.

My last Jeep had a 200w 4 channel and a 100w mono sub amp both shoved under the backseat for years with no issues. Should have about the same amount of room and slightly better circulation under the dash of a 3rd gen.
